Former Black Stars midfielder Kevin Prince Boateng has confirmed the separation between his TV presenter wife, Melissa Satta, after nine years of being together.
The relationship of Boateng and the Italian television superstar has hit rock bottom in recent times with the two having to spend time away from each other.
The couple has been married for 4 years and has a six-year-old son, Maddox Boateng.
He took to social media to confirm the separation. He shared that after spending some time apart, they have decided to call their relationship off.
"After a period of separation, we have decided to terminate our relationship permanently, in full respect of each other's positions and in complete serenity, while we remain an important reference point for the growth of our son Maddox," he posted.
Mellissa Satta also took to her social media pages thanking the former Ghanaian Black Stars midfielder for 9 years of being together and for giving her the best gift, their son Maddox Boateng.
"After a period of separation, we have decided to terminate our relationship permanently, in full respect of each other's positions and in complete serenity, while we remain an important reference point for the growth of our son Maddox. Thank you for these 9 years...and for the best gift...Maddox - Melissa," she posted.
