President Akufo-Addo on Sunday announced that all students from kindergarten to Junior High School will return to school on January 15.
Schools have been shut for about ten months following the outbreak of the novel covid-19 pandemic.

Tonight on PM Express, Evans Mensah engages with guests to address concerns from parents regarding the announcement amid covid-19.
Guest for the discussion includes Director General, Ghana Education Service, Prof Kwasi Opoku-Amankwa, president of the Ghana National Association of Teachers, Philippa Larsen, Acting President Ghana National Association of Private Schools, Dr Damasus Tuurosng and Director General of the Ghana Health Service, Dr Patrick Kuma-Aboagye.
