Ghana has recorded 777 new Covid-19 cases in less than 48 hours with nine more people succumbing to the deadly virus.
In its latest report, the Ghana Health Service (GHS), said the country's active cases have reached 5,786 bringing the national total cases to 68,559.

Also, out of 68,559 total confirmed cases, 62,340 out of the total have recovered.
Meanwhile, Director-General of the Service, Dr Patrick Kuma-Aboagye who spoke during a press briefing in partnership with the Ministry of Information disclosed that all 16 regions in the country still record active Covid-19 cases.
He noted that Accra remains the largest hotspot as data shows about 60 per cent of active cases recorded nationwide reside in the capital city.
The Ashanti and Western Region follow with 16 and 6.1 per cent respectively.
