Old Boys and Girls Association of Kamina Primary and Junior High School (KOBGA) in Tamale has rolled out a number of developmental projects to enhance quality teaching and learning in the school.
The move is also to ensure the school is restored to its status as one of the best schools by improving infrastructure, student and teacher motivation schemes, amongst others.
Speaking at a donation ceremony, Chairman of the Northern Region Chapter President of KOBGA, Evans Darwah who delivered a speech on behalf of the National President, Lt. Col. Nicholas Baba Adombire-Akolgo said the initiative will increase student’s intake, improve students’ performance and give them the opportunities to higher learning institutions.

According to him, more than 100 dual desks has been provided to the school to help augment the furniture deficit in the school.
Mr Darkwah added that funds are also been solicited from members to enable the completion of some ongoing projects.

He said the association has more than 200 active members who meet regularly to discuss and consult about the challenges facing the school and proffer solutions adding that members contribute at least GHS10 every month towards development of the institution.
The group also donated Veronica buckets, tissue papers, face masks and hand sanitizers to beef up compliance with health protocols amid the novel coronavirus.
