Musician Wanlov the Kubolor says his father has inspired him to become a good dad to his children.
According to him, even though he was a stubborn child while growing up, his father did not use a cane on him.
This he said has taught him to be patient with children when they go wayward or misbehave.
“My whole childhood, even though I can say I was a stubborn child, my father disciplined me once and that one was not even with a cane. He held me some tight way, whiles he was speaking to me, and everything was entering my brain.
"I feel like he showed me how to raise children without being violent, so it has also made me patient with my children,” he reiterated.
Speaking to JoyNews' Becky on EVIBES, Wanlov also said even though he does not spend much time with his children he tries to be a good father.
“The thing is I don’t spend time as I would like with my children, but anytime I am with them, I do try to show them the kind of things I learnt from my father and the ones I learnt on my own.”
