The Rector of Ghana Institute of Journalism (GIJ), Prof. Kwamena Kwansah-Aidoo has congratulated Mr Yaw Osei Adutwum on his appointment as Education Minister.
According to him, Mr Adutwum's appointment as Education Minister is a well-earned endorsement of his hard work, consistency, dedication to duty and an unblemished track record of public service.
In his congratulatory message to the Education Minister, Mr Kwansah-Aidoo, described Mr Adutwum as a public figure whose "call to duty currently is to help provide solutions to the varied problems the sector faces".
The Rector of GIJ stated that he has full confidence that the Education Minister will be able to deliver on his mandate and help improve the standard of education in the country.
“You bring a wide array of experience and insight to your new role at an important time in Ghana’s educational history," he said.
Mr Kwansah-Aidoo said his office looks forward to working with the Minister to ensure that “students and future generations receive a world-class education even in the era of Covid-19 and beyond.”
"Management of the Institute will find the earliest opportunity to meet with you to discuss the potential synergies between the Ministry and our Institute.”
