As part of efforts to promote quality healthcare in the Nsawam Adoagyiri constituency, the MP has donated 10 Pulse Oximeters to the Nsawam Government Hospital.
Frank Annor Dompreh, who doubles as Majority Chief Whip, said the decision was inspired by the sad looks on the faces of the patients when he earlier visited the hospital.

"During the Covid-19 period I came here to visit them and I saw how they are suffering. So this is to help them and this is first of its kind in the Eastern region,” he said.
The machines, which can be used for checking heartbeats, breathing rate, temperature, blood pressure, and the level of oxygen within the blood, were secured at a cost of $20,000.

He indicated that the gadgets could also help to measure oxygen saturation in critical cases, especially in this time of Covid-19.
The MP added that the machines will allow the hospital to monitor critical and vital signs of the body.
He also urged staff of the Hospital to give of their best in their line of duty.
On his part, the Medical Superintendent of the Hospital, Dr Kwabena Awuku, expressed profound gratitude to the MP for the kind gesture.
