The Diaspora African Forum (DAF) in partnership with Dr. Cuthbert Simpkins and his wife, Diane Phipps-Simpkins will donate a state-of-art high capacity High Flow Oxygenator to the International Maritime Hospital.
The donors seek to express their immense gratitude to the hospital for the care and support rendered to save the life of Glenda Simpkins, the sister of Dr Cuthbert Simpkins.
Founder and Head of Mission of DAF, Dr Erieka Bennett, will officially handover the oxygenator to the hospital in the company of Dr Ryan Azcueta of AMI, Counsel for DAF; Abdul Latif Bennett, the Director of Health Promotion at the Ghana Health Service; Dr DaCosta Aboagye, CEO/Chief Medical Officer CHILDAccra; Dr Juliet Tuakli, CEO of Allied Mining Ghana Ltd; Brenda Joyce; and Deputy Director-Diaspora Office of the President; Dr. Nadia Musah.
They believe that their humble donation will help reduce the burden that Covid-19 has placed on Ghana’s Health Sector.
The donation will be held on Tuesday, May 25, 2021.
