Head coach of the Black Stars, Charles Akonnor has taken the decision to allow Gladson Awako join his teammates at Accra Great Olympics, as the Dade boys prepare for the Mantse derby with Accra Hearts of Oak.
This news will serve as a form of motivation to the Dade boys as Awako was instrumental in the first encounter between the two teams this season.
Besides Awako, Ismail Ganiyu and Rashid Nortey have all been granted permission to join their respective camps as they prepare for this weekend’s premier league fixtures.
Ganiyu’s Kotoko are also set for a big task this weekend as AshantiGold will play visitors to the Porcupine warriors for the Ashanti derby.
Kotoko trail league leaders, Hearts by two points and a win over Ashgold, will see them move to the top of the table, should Hearts fail to win.
Nortey of Medeama will also have a role to play as Medeama will be locked in a crucial clash against 4th placed Karela.
Medeama currently sit 5th, sharing the same points with Karela but behind on goal difference.
All three players will return to the Black Stars camp after the weekend’s fixtures.
