The Ghana Health Service (GHS) has revealed that the country has lost two more lives to the novel coronavirus disease.
This latest update brings the total number of deaths recorded to 801.

According to the GHS, 13 out of the 16 regions have reported active cases. The three regions without active cases are Savannah, Upper East and Upper West regions.
Ghana's active cases stand at 2,247 while 148 new cases have been recorded. The Greater Accra Region reported 90 new cases and the Ashanti Region recorded 28 new cases.
This brings the total confirmed cases to 97,585. Out of this figure, 94,537 persons have recovered and have been discharged from the health facilities.
Eleven cases are said to be critical while 23 persons are in severe condition.

Reports from the Kotoka International Airport reveal that 1,840 out of the total 1,946 cases recorded have also been discharged.
