The Finance Minister, has presented the 2021 Mid-year budget to Parliament.
The budget focused on revenue, expenditure, and financial performance for the first half of the year, providing an overview of the implementation of the 2021 Budget.
It highlighted the state of the implementation of Ghana CARES “Obaatanpa” Programme that “seeks to revitalise and transform the economy to pre Covid-19 times.”
It also provided the economic and fiscal performance of the economy for the first half of the year.
The Finance Minister stuck to his promise of not presenting a Supplementary Budget and not reviewing any tax rates despite challenges with revenue mobilization.
