The country has recorded 6,276 active cases of Covid-19 according to the Ghana Health Service (GHS).
In its latest update, the GHS said, 86 of these cases recorded are severe while 17 others are in critical condition.
As of July 30, 518 new cases have been reported. This brings the total number of confirmed cases to 105,512.
Despite the surge in positive cases recorded in some communities and the Kotoka International Airport (KIA), a total of 98,392 individuals have recovered, hence have been discharged from the various health facilities.
Unfortunately, one more life has been lost to Covid-19 bringing the death toll to 844.
The Greater Accra Region remains the largest hotspot for contracting the virus. The Upper West Region, on the other hand, has not reported any active case.
