Professional photographer and psychiatric nurse practitioner Kobby Blay has revealed that there is a lot of competition in the world of photography.
In an interview with Andy Dosty on Daybreak Hitz the young entrepreneur revealed that even though the job does not look that demanding, it comes with a whole lot of pressure.
He told Andy Dosty that photographers are expected to produce details of every event they cover and this sometimes becomes a challenge.
According to him, they come across other competitors who are also covering the same events and face the pressure of getting the best details to please their employers.
"It is very competitive. For example, you might be covering an event like a demonstration, you have to cover what is happening but in your mind, you are asking what the other photographer is covering and doing for himself."
"It actually influences you to push yourself to get the right details because if you are contacted by any agency to cover an event and you don't come with the right details you may lose your next job," he said.
Kobby Blay also mentioned that as a photographer, he tries his best to be better at his job every day.
He stated that the emergence of social media has made it possible to see the works of his competitors as well as follow trends to suit the demands of his clients.
