Head coach of Hasaacas Ladies, Yusif Basigi has watered down on talks linking him to the Black Queens job.
After guiding Hasaacas Ladies to a second place finish at the maiden edition of the CAF Women's Champions League, many have called for him to take over the Black Queens job.
Besides their second place finish, the quality of play exhibited by the Hasmal Ladies, coupled with an unbeaten status till the final, are contributing factors. They scored 10 goals and conceded 5 in the maiden edition of the CAF Women's Champions League.
Nonetheless Basigi who doubles as assistant head coach for Ghana's Black Meteors, does not have any interest with the Queens role.
"Currently I'm with the Black Meteors when duty calls. But it's not something that I'm looking at, at the moment. So we have competitions and assignments ahead of me. I think the coach is also doing well, so maybe she needs time to put herself together and then Black Queens will gel," Basigi said in an interview.
Yusif Basigi led Hasaacas Ladies to triumph in the Women's Ghana Premier League as well as the WAFU Zone B tournament.
After their exploits in Egypt, Hasaacas Ladies touched down in Ghana on November 23.
