The Executive Chairman of King Faisal Football Club, Alhaji Karim Grusah, will retract and render an unqualified apology to Joseph Yaw Appiah for defamatory words uttered against the former GHALCA boss.
Alhaji Grusah was hauled before an Accra High Court on the defamatory comments against J.Y. Appiah, made on Asempa FM.
Mr. Appiah, a former Chairman of the Ghana League Clubs Association, told the court the false claims had damaged his reputation and business, and therefore sought 2.5 million cedis in compensation, public apology and retraction.
However, the parties to the suit on Tuesday, December 7, 2021, agreed to an amicable settlement of the case.
