Majority Chief Whip, Frank Annoh-Dompreh has rubbished claims that the Dome-Kwabenya MP, Sarah Adwoa Safo, was impersonated when Parliament approved the 2022 budget on November 30.
According to him, his side in Parliament has "too many productive matters to sort out, particularly, dealing with welfare matters of Ghana," hence will not be engaged with such fallacy.
He was reacting to a user on social media who insisted that Adwoa Safo was impersonated as alleged by the Minority, and challenged the Majority Chief Whip to drag him to court.
"I insist she (Adwoa Safo) was impersonated and I challenge her and your party to take me to any court," one Mike Agyemang said.
He was however advised by Mr Annoh-Dompreh to pass his good counsel to the "divided Minority."
"They may assist you," the Nsawam-Adoagyiri MP added.
With all respect, we have too many productive matters to sort out, particularly, dealing with welfare matters of Ghana...

The MP for North Tongu, following the approval of the 2022 fiscal policy statement in the absence of the Minority, told Joy FM his side is investigating a case of impersonation of the Dome-Kwabenya MP.
Mr Samuel Okudzeto Ablakwa told hosts of the Super Morning Show that the Minority side suspects the lady who was present in the House on Tuesday was not the Dome-Kwabenya MP.
“Following pictures and videos we are reviewing this morning, it is becoming quite apparent to us that there may be a case of impersonation with regards to the lady who was presented as Adwoa Safo. It’s beginning to appear that she may not be Adwoa Safo,” he said.
His allegation was however rubbished on December 1, when the Dome-Kwabenya MP cleared the air, insisting that she was in Parliament the very day First Deputy Speaker, Joseph Osei-Owusu approved the budget.
“Mr Speaker, this is a House of record and as the former Deputy Majority Leader of this House, I was present in this House yesterday,” she said.
Addressing the House, Adwoa Sarfo who doubles as the Gender Minister demanded an immediate withdrawal from her colleague, Okudzeto Ablakwa.
“Mr Speaker, that is an insult on womanhood so those making that noise, Mr Speaker, should withdraw,” she stated.
Meanwhile, Minority Chief Whip, Mohammed Mubarak Muntaka, has said that the Minority is determined to bring finality to doubts over the presence or otherwise of Sarah Adwoa Safo in Parliament.
It has been close to two weeks since the Minority made the allegation.
