Two suspected armed robbers who attacked and robbed their victims of their Honda and a V-5 Apsonic motorbikes in the Bolgatanga Municipality on December 18, have been arrested.
The Upper East Regional Police Command made the arrest on Wednesday, December 22, in collaboration with the Special Anti-Robbery Squad.
In a Facebook post, the Service identified the two as Mbabila Gideon and Castro Permadok.
According to the Service, during interrogation, "the two suspects admitted their complicity in the robbery with one other, only known as L.K."
The said accomplice who is in possession of the motorbikes together with a locally manufactured pistol which was used for the robbery is currently at large.
Meanwhile, the Service has assured of its commitment to apprehending the third suspect as the two others in custody are aiding with investigations.
"The two suspects who have been identified by their victims are currently in Police custody assisting the investigations to arrest their accomplice, L.K. We are determined to arrest and prosecute criminal elements in our communities for the peace and safety of all."
