In a Christmas message to the citizenry, the Minister, Ebenezer Kojo Kum, on behalf of his sector called on Ghanaians to keep safe since the pandemic is still in existence.
"I take this opportunity to encourage all of us to keep safe, celebrate in moderation, and take comfort in the blessing and protection of our Lord even in the midst of Covid-19," he said.
"Let us all abide by the protocols of Covid-19 and protect ourselves and our loved ones," he added.
He further shared hopes that "the year ahead of us will be good for all of us."
"Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year," he concluded.

“Let us all celebrate the season safely and responsibly, and maintain the peace of the nation. It is my fervent hope that this Christmas will be celebrated without any road accidents.”
The President, therefore, urged drivers to ply their trade with due regards for the road traffic regulations, “Drivers must minimize their speed, take due precaution for other road users, drive without the influence of alcohol, and wear their seat belts, as must all passengers.”
The President also called on Christians to, “in the name of Christian charity, remember to help those who are less fortunate in this festive season.”
