Former Asante Kotoko midfielder, Yussif Chibsah, has urged fans of both Accra Hearts of Oak and Kumasi Asante Kotoko to conduct themselves well ahead of Sunday's Super clash.
Hearts host Kotoko in an outstanding matchday seven fixture of the Ghana Premier League at the Accra Sports Stadium.
The National Sports Authority announced that the stadium will be opened to take full capacity, lifting the 25% limitation due to the coronavirus.
Chibsah, who knows the importance of spectators in this fixture called on football fans to comport themselves while being guided by the recent incident in Cameroon during the Africa Cup of Nations.
"First of all, let's commend the NSA and the government for opening up the stadium to full capacity [for the Super Clash]. We should take advantage of this opportunity to troop into the stadium and support our various clubs," he said on Joy FM.
"But then again, we should be mindful of some bad incidence that happened years back. We don't want to have any more experience. We don't want the NSA to take us back to a certain quota of capacity, so let us all behave. No hooliganism, we should be disciplined and go there as one Ghana, regardless of whether you are a supporter of Kotoko or Hearts. We should support our teams and at the end of the day, we are one Ghana."
Hearts find themselves 12 points behind Kotoko and a win for them will be a morale booster ahead of the second round of the league.
