Government has expressed concern about the Russian military invasion of Ukraine.
The situation puts thousands of Ghanaians living in Ukraine, most of whom are medical students, at risk.
The government through its Embassy at Berne Switzerland has therefore cautioned Ghanaians to limit their movement in and around city centres, even as they seek essential goods and services.
It added that Ghanaians in Ukraine preferably stay indoors or move to shelters provided by the Ukrainian government.

The government further revealed that all efforts are being made to ensure the utmost safety of Ghanaians in Ukraine despite the violence.
“Our diplomatic mission in Berne, and our Honorary Consulate are directly engaged with the relevant authorities in Ukraine in an effort to secure the safety and protection of Ghanaian citizens there during this difficult period,” the government stated.
