Ticket sales for Chris Rock’s Toronto stop on his tour are soaring after the comedian was now-infamously smacked by Will Smith at the Oscars.
The comedian’s world tour is called Ego Death and his Toronto show has gotten much closer to being sold out ever since the controversial slap occurred.
Ticket marketplace TickPick tweeted about the rise in sales since Sunday night, claiming that they “sold more tickets to see Chris Rock overnight than we did in the past month combined.”

“Ego Death World Tour 2022 all-new material introspective very personal and very funny,” Rock wrote in the caption announcing the tour. “Can’t wait to show you.”
The tour is set to make stops in 30 cities, starting March 30 in Boston.
If you’re hoping to catch Rock this summer, then you’d better shake a leg and grab tickets before it’s too late. He hits Toronto’s Scotiabank Arena on June 18.
