Actor, John Dumelo, says an immediate solution needs to be put in place to deal with unemployment.
Taking to Twitter, he noted that unemployment is a real phenomenon and something has to be done to address it.
"Unemployment is real. We definitely need home grown solutions asap," he wrote.
This comes after the actor and politician on Wednesday asked people to inbox him for an available job as a shop attendant.
The salary, he noted was GHS110 with extra GHS200 as transport allowance every month.
John Dumelo later in the day revealed that he received about 1500 applications in just three hours after the notice went up.
He noted that the applicants included masters and degree students to SHS certificate holders.
"We need to come up with a plan. We need to!"
John Dumelo noted that having a degree in recent times is only a bonus because many companies employ people based on other criteria.
"They employ based on smartness, attitude, team work, good oral/writing skills, ability to have intelligent conversations etc."
