Ghana's Farida Iddriss has been elected as one of the four vice presidents of CANA Zone 2.
She was elected unopposed by popular acclamation by members of the West and Central Africa governing body at the General Assembly in Dakar.
Farida, who is serving the role for the first time as a Vice President, already has the experience administratively as she has been a Bureau member for CaNa Zone 2 for four years.

"I am so happy, as a young lady to be given an opportunity to serve on the board again but with a new portfolio, I am grateful to the Aquatic family in CaNa Zone 2 for giving me this opportunity to serve," she exclusively told JoySports.
Farida played a significant role in Ghana’s successful host of the 7th CANA Zone 2 championship in 2020 and the 14th CANA African Senior Swimming & Open Water Championships last year.
