District Chief Executive of the North Dayi, Edmund Kudjoh Attah has said that the Green Ghana project will be meaningless if the culture of maintenance is not practiced thoroughly.
Mr Kudjoh Attah said this when he joined students and residents of the district to plant 12,000 trees across the North Dayi District.
According to him, most Ghanaians lack the culture of maintenance and are, therefore, unable to keep things well-nurtured.

He noted that to help achieve the government’s Green Ghana agenda, everyone must make sure that the trees and well taken care of.
"It is very important as a nation to adopt the culture of good maintenance because this exercise will be meaningless if there is no maintenance and continuous planting of trees across the country," Mr Kudjoh Attah said.

He urged all to help make North Dayi and the Country as greener as the President envisaged.
Mr Kudjoh also disclosed that there is an award system put in place for students and residents who will take care of the trees planted to motivate others to also do the same.
The North Dayi District since the inception of the green Ghana project has continued to plant trees across the district especially in schools, along the roads and streams and in very important places.
