Francis Atuahene, an entrepreneur and CEO of Atuahene Group of Companies, has been crowned the ‘Outstanding Young CEO of 2022' at the Western Regional Business Awards.
He also won the 'Outstanding Alumni Entrepreneur in the Automobile Industry' at the Takoradi Technical University’s Excellence Awards.
This is the second consecutive time Mr Atuahene is winning the Western Regional Business Awards, which seeks to recognise outstanding private and public businesses operating in the Western Region.
Mr Atuahene, who received the award last Thursday in Takoradi, thanked his staff and customers for making him stand out.
“This award encourages me to do more. I feel appreciated for the efforts my team and I put into our work. This recognition gives us the hope that we can do more,” he said.
Commenting on the TTU Excellence Awards on Sunday, the award motivates the younger generation to do better than he has done.
"It also serves as an inspiration for the current students and alumni of TTU," he added.
Affectionately known as 'Daytime CEO and Night-time Watchman', Mr Atuahene was born at Atonsu in the Ashanti Region.
His Atuahene Group of Companies has real estate, construction and driving school subsidiaries.
