It is fast approaching the two-month mark to the start of the Qatar 2022 World Cup, which begins on November 20.
Three weeks ago, the Joy Sports team entertained audiences with its 100 Days to Qatar show that primed audiences with key facts and expectations for the tournament. Now, the team follows up with an exciting quiz show to further tingle World Cup senses.
Qatari Quest Quiz is expected to last for ten weeks on Joy 99.FM starting this Friday, September 9 until the grand finale on November 11, 2022.
Joy Sports' Nathaniel Attoh, a veteran of such thrilling shows, will be the quiz master.
"This is one of the most exciting ways to build up to the world cup. I have come across quite a number of 'walking world cup dictionaries' over the years who will do great on a platform like the Qatari Quest Quiz," Attoh said.
"This is the ultimate platform for them to do the sporting battles. I can't wait for these thrilling moments."
The Qatari Quest Quiz, airing at 7 pm - 8 pm every Friday, will have a group phase, quarterfinals, semis and then a climaxing championship match on the following dates:
Group Phase: September 9 - 30, 2022
Quarterfinals: October 7 - 21, 2022
Semifinals: October 28 - November 4, 2022
Final: November 11, 2022
