With the 2022 FIFA World Cup fast approaching, Ghanaian players abroad also continued their great run of form over the weekend.
Here's a wrap of the performances from some of the players based abroad
Mohammed Kudus' great run of form continued despite Ajax's defeat to AZ Alkmaar. The midfielder scored in his fifth consecutive goal on Sunday afternoon. Kudus now has six goals and one assist in the last five appearances.
Majeed Ashimeru was in action for Anderlecht against Kortrijk and scored the second goal of the game as his side picked up an important win. The goal was the Ghanaian's second of the season.
Abdul-Aziz Yakubu also found the back of the net once again for Rio Ave who played out a 2-2 stalemate against Gil Vicente.
Inaki Williams scored for Athletic Bilbao as they beat Rayo Vallecano in the LaLiga. Nico Williams was also on target for the Basque club.
Abdul Mumin made his debut for Vallecano, coming off the bench to play the last 12 minutes of the game against Athletic Bilbao.
Thomas Partey made his injury return for Arsenal as they secured a 3-0 triumph over Brentford in the Premier League.
Elisha Owusu also played 23 minutes for Gent after recovering from his long injury layoff.
Youngster Mohammed Fuseini was on target for Sturm Fraz in the Austrian Bundesliga against Austria Lustenau.
Alexander Djiku played all minutes available as Strasbourg suffered 1-2 loss to Montpellier.
Michael Baidoo was involved in a goal over the weekend as Elfsborg beat Sirius in the Swedish top flight.
Osman Bukari played 60 minutes in Red Star Belgrade's victory over Napredak Krusevac.
