Ghanaian players across Europe delivered strong performances for their clubs as the season approaches the halfway mark.
Here’s a wrap of their performances over the weekend:
England
Mohammed Kudus scored his second goal of the season in Tottenham’s 2-1 defeat to Fulham on Saturday night. The goal was his first in seven games and adds to his four assists in 12 Premier League matches.

Compatriot Antoine Semenyo made his return from injury in Bournemouth’s 3-2 loss to Sunderland.
In the Championship, Abdul Fatawu Issahaku provided his fifth assist of the season in Leicester’s 3-2 loss to Sheffield United. Issahaku also has three goals, giving him eight goal contributions in 18 league games. Jordan Ayew was a second-half substitute for the Foxes.

Attacking midfielder Forson Amankwah scored his first goal of the campaign for Norwich in a 3-1 win over QPR. The match was the 22-year-old’s second start of the season and only his seventh appearance after missing 13 games through injury.
Spain
Kwasi Sibo was again an unused substitute for Real Oviedo in a 2-0 loss to Atletico Madrid.
Thomas Partey was on the bench for Villarreal in their 3-2 win over Real Sociedad, which moved them to third in LaLiga.
Italy
Kamaldeen Sulemana was a second-half substitute for Atalanta in a 2-0 win against Fiorentina.
Forward Caleb Ekuban came off the bench after the hour mark for Genoa in a 2-1 win over Hellas Verona.
Germany
Left-back Derrick Kohn featured for Union Berlin in a 2-1 loss to Heidenheim, while German-born forward Ilyas Ansah set up a goal for Union Berlin.
Ransford Yeboah Königsdörffer came off the bench in the 33rd minute to help Hamburg beat Stuttgart 2-1.
France
Midfielder Salis Abdul Samed and defender Kojo Oppong featured for Nice in a 3-2 loss to Lorient, with defender Nathaniel Adjei coming on as a late substitute for the home side.
Mohammed Salisu shone again for AS Monaco in their 1-0 win over PSG, following his Man of the Match display in the Champions League.
Prince Adu Kwabena also scored the opener for Viktoria Plzen in their 2-1 win against Mlada, taking his tally to six league goals in Czechia.

In Switzerland, Lawrence Ati-Zigi made seven saves, including a penalty stop, for St. Gallen in a goalless draw against FC Basel. The 29-year-old has kept four clean sheets in 12 games, with two coming in his last three matches, during which he also made seven saves in the other clean sheet performance.
