Black Stars defender, Abdul Mumin, on Tuesday, October 18, started his first game for Rayo Vallecano in their league clash against Atletico Madrid.
The central defender was named in Andoni Iraola's starting line-up for the game after three games of no action.
The 24-year-old excelled on his full debut for the club away against Diego Simeone's side and helped his side earn a point from the game despite conceding first.
Mumin was paired with Alejandro Catena, who was the skipper for Vallecano in the game and showed his strong ball-playing attributes, lasting the entire duration of the game.
The defender had 67 touches of the ball and completed 51 out of his 60 attempted passes, managing two clearances at the Wanda Metropolitano.
Mumin joined Vallecano from Portuguese side, Vitoria SC, during the summer transfer window and came on for a cameo appearance during the club's league game against Athletic Bilbao.
