The 2nd edition of the Clay Business Clinic for Micro, Small, and Medium Scale Enterprises (MSMEs), an initiative by the Clay Group will come off on Friday December 9, 2022.
The clinic seeks to equip entrepreneurs, businesses, business enthusiasts and startups with the requisite tools and resources to guide their operations, scale their businesses and also create sustainable new markets.
Entrepreneurship continues to play a critical role in boosting economic growth through the creation of new markets, contribution to economic development and helping bridge the unemployment gap.
Clay Group will therefore use this medium to help inform and educate MSMEs on what to do to surmount the present economic challenges facing the country.
Kuukua Adams, Founder and CEO of the group also acknowledged that this is one of the ways of giving back and providing entrepreneurs with capacity-building opportunities.
The second edition will bring together experts and representatives from the Ghana Revenue Authority and the Food & Drugs Authority
Participants will be taken through new tax policies, regulations and general information on the various regulatory bodies. They would also have the opportunity to ask questions and make suggestions.
The theme for this event is ‘State Business Partnerships: Working together for a business friendly environment’.
The maiden event, held virtually on the July 27, 2022, saw representatives from the Ghana Revenue Authority (GRA), Social Security and National Insurance Trust (SSNIT) and Petra Trust.
