Kwahuhene and the Life Patron of Okwawu United, HRM Daasebre Akuamoah Agyapong II, in an attempt to financially strengthen the club for the seasons ahead, has introduced an initiative dubbed “Okwawu United Club 100”.
The initiative targets 100 businesses and individuals with some admiration or linkage to the club or Kwahu community by contributing Ghs10,000. All contributions come with benefits and full recognition of contributors in all media handles of the great club, Okwawu United.
In his wisdom, Daasebre believes that doing this will unite the neighbourhood around their favourite team and aid in its return to the top flight of football.
With a view to achieving that, Daasebre has provided the team with financial support for this endeavour. As a result, he appealed to the people of Asaase Aban, Obuoba, and Kwahuman to support the project.
To encourage people to support the Okwawu club 100 project, HRM has taken the initiative and provided GH10,000 as a start.
