Gospel musician Joe Mettle has hinted at a music collaboration with his wife one day.
According to him, his wife is very good on the microphone and will not hesitate to feature in one of his songs.
But for now, the 'Bonooni' hitmaker said that the wife is currently occupied taking care of the first child.
The musician made these revelations in an interview with Joy Prime’s Roselyn Felli on Prime Morning on Wednesday.
"My wife sings, actually. I’m sure one day we will have a collaboration. I’m sure one day, but for now, she’s taking care of the baby. I don’t do nannies for now. It is the first.
"There has to be bonding and all that, and this is my personal view. Sometimes, I feel like the sharing of the nannies takes a bit away from the bonding time," he said.
Although the 2017 Artist of the Year did not specify when this collaboration would take place, he is confident that the two will work together on a piece one day.
Joe Mettle said that he will release a number of hit songs over the course of the year.
One of which he wrote a few years ago and that needs to be updated and released.
"Sometimes when you keep a song for long, it loses its vim. This year, I believe I have cleaned it up a little. It’s a local song. I haven’t released a local song in a while. This one has the green light, so I think what is left is... I just want to see if I can do things like make a video and a few other things, but we will see. Maybe like next month," the 'Waala Aboloo' hitmaker said.
He said that the piece is a typical local song that will get many gospel music lovers gyrating.
The song is likely to be released in March 2023.
