The Chief Executive Officer of Quick Angels, Richard Nii Armah Quaye, has donated ¢25,000 each to 10 entrepreneurs as seed capital to transform their businesses.
These enterprises were selected from 1,200 start ups that applied for support from the Richard Quaye Foundation set up by Quick Angels.
The 10 winners came from a variety of industries, including recycling plastic debris, fashion, software development, and agriculture.
Speaking to Joy Business, Mr. Quaye, entreated the young startups to be financially discipline in their quest to sustain their business.
This, according to him, is key to their expansion drive.
“These entrepreneurs should always be discipline because the corporate world comes with a lot of challenges, hence the need for them to be encouraged to persevere and make great strides within the business world”, he said
Richard Quaye Foundation is an established social responsibility foundation incorporated on February 7, 2020.
The foundation’s aim is to identify young Ghanaians in the community that are need and provide them with assistance through education, training, and financial support as well as providing entrepreneurial skills.
The charity also aspires to serve as a hub of information and reliance for the poor in Ghana and elsewhere.
