The Koforidua Youth Resource Centre has undergone a significant transformation, just two months after a Joy Sports report brought attention to the facility's severe neglect.
The report, put together by Fentuo Tahiru Fentuo in March, uncovered how the lack of attention had caused significant wear and tear to the centre's facilities.
As a result of the report, the management has taken several measures to upgrade the centre. Tartan tracks have been laid, the seating area has been cleaned, and the surrounding bushes have been cleared, creating a more peaceful environment suitable for human use.

However, there is still work to be done on the playing surface and ticketing booth.
The Koforidua Youth Resource Centre's construction began in March 2018 as part of the government's ten multi-purpose Youth Resource Centres project, aimed at nurturing talents. The facility was expected to be completed within nine months, but the project suffered delays.
