Ghanaian midfielder Michael Baidoo was on target in the Swedish top-flight league for the first time on Wednesday night as IF Elfsborg beat Halmstads.
The 23-year-old was directly involved in two goals on the night, scoring one and assisting the other as his side claimed a 6-1 victory at home.
Elfsborg went into the halftime break trailing 0-1 one after the away side had taken an early lead.
However, Baidoo scored 10 minutes after the recess to draw his side levelled and put them on course to secure all three points.
Six minutes later, the Ghanaian provided an assist for Jeppe Okkels to make it 3-1 for Elfsborg, who went on to record a 6-1 victory.
Baidoo was taken off in the 79th minute of the game after his goal and assist.
The youngster has been involved in three goals in six league games this season, scoring one and providing two assists.
