Ho-based Home Stars Football Club and Dynamo Football Club secured vital wins in the ongoing Adonai Estate Volta Division Two sub-middle league.
Dynamo took on Freedom Fighters in the opening fixture in the Central Zone at the Ho Sports Stadium. The game ended one zero in favour of Dynamo.
A third-minute strike from Home Stars', Isaiah Boya went unanswered by Selion Football Club, giving the Stars a leap toward the Division Two Middle League.
The second and third fixtures are slated for Saturday 10th June and Sunday 11th June 2023 respectively.
Two teams would progress to the Middle League from the Zone.
Coach Christian Chibueze is hoping to qualify Home Stars to the Division One League, after failing narrowly in the 2021/2022 season.
Kopeyia United, Ilead Sporting Club, Yadzo Oti Warriors, Aqua Force Football Club, Bebeto and Inter Allies have already qualified for the Middle League.
