FC Nordsjaelland forward Ernest Nuamah was adjudged the winner of the Odartey Lamptey Future Star Award at the fifth edition of the Ghana Football Awards.
The ceremony which took place at the Accra International Conference Centre on Sunday, June 25, was to award individuals who played their hearts out during the year under review.
The 19-year-old beat Dreamz Ladies and Black Princesses' skipper, Stella Nyamekye and Fabulous Ladies' Princess Owusua to the accolade.
Nuamah has had an incredible year for Nordsjaelland as he was close to securing Champions League football for them for the first time in a long while.
The teenager scored 12 goals and provided four assists in the league, making him the club's top-scorer while winning all three individual awards in the Danish Super Liga.
On the international scene, Nuamah also played a key role in Ghana's qualification to the 2023 U-23 Africa Cup of Nations where he scored in the Black Meteors' 3-2 win over Congo in the opening game of the tournament.
Prior to jetting off to Morocco for the tournament, the youngster made his debut for the Black Stars in the AFCON Qualifier against Madagascar on June 18, coming as a substitute for Kalamdeen Sulemana in the 0-0 stalemate.
