Reggae/Dancehall artiste Stonebwoy says he is not opposed to working with his colleague Shatta Wale on a collaboration.
He, however, did not give a reason why a collaboration has not happened after they resolved their differences following the disagreement at the Vodafone Ghana Music Awards (VGMA) in 2019.
Speaking on Asaase radio, Stonebwoy said that he truly believes they will work together at some point but he does not want them to rush into anything just to please people.
“It will come, everything happens in time. As I sit here, I believe in a clean heart and I know that as powerhouses as the two of us are, we can shake the grounds. Time will tell and I hope and pray that it doesn’t become too late,” he said.
While Stonebwoy talked about his willingness to collaborate with Shatta Wale, he jokingly said that they might fight during the process as creatives with different opinions.
The two initially promised fans a collaboration when they reconciled after they were banned from participating in the VGMAs following an altercation between them marred the 2019 edition.
Years later, the collaboration has not happened, although the ban has been lifted.
Stonebwoy won an award at the 2023 Vodafone Ghana Music Awards (VGMA), but Shatta Wale is yet to rejoin the scheme.
