The Chartered Institute of Credit Management has shortlisted 45 financial institutions and individuals for the 4th Ghana Credit Excellence Awards 2023.
The award categories that promise to be the toast of the night are Bank of the Year, SME Bank of the Year, Trade Finance Bank of the Year, Mortgage Finance Bank of the Year, Agribusiness Bank of the Year, Corporate & Project Finance Bank of the Year, Rural Bank of the Year, Non-Bank Financial Institutions Awards, Payroll Financial Service Brand, Finance Leasing Brand Awards, Micro Loan Product of the Year and Debt Collection.
This year’s event is slated on Friday, September 8, 2023 in Accra.
The keynote Speaker is the Governor of Bank of Ghana, Dr. Ernest Addison. He will speak on the theme: “Banking and ESG Revolution-Going Beyond Aspirations"

Expert Consult Ltd, Capital Factors & Debt Management Services, Prime Debt Recoveries Limited, Deomeg Debt Recovery Company Ltd, Purple Holdings Ltd, Mastercard Foundation, Maglans Micro-Credit Services, Gate of Glory Micro-Credit Services, Infinity Capital Micro-Credit Ltd, Magnet Microcredit Ltd, Link Exchange Micro-Credit Ltd were also nominated.
The individual nominees are Odun Odunfa, Chief Exective Officer of First Atlantic Bank, Akwasi Aboagye, Managing Director of Bayport Savings & Loans and Samuel Sekyere Bonsu of Atwima Kwanwoma Rural Bank PLC.
The Ghana Credit Excellence Award is a premier event in the financial sector organised by the Chartered Institute of Credit Management, Ghana.
