In a story that sounds too coincidental to be true, an Ohio couple who share a birthday welcomed twins on their birthday.
As reported by People, 31-year-old Scierra Blair and 32-year-old José Ervin welcomed a son and a daughter on August 18, which also happens to be their birthdays. What's even wilder about the story is that Blair gave birth to the twins, Jose Ervin III and Ar'ria Lannette Ervin, not long after midnight.
“They were my birthday present and I’m good with that," Ervin shared. "I’m so stoked. I kiss them like 30,000 times a day.”
The couple met shortly after their birthdays last year, and Ervin said he initially didn't believe that they shared a birthday until he was shown her ID.
“The whole month of August, I said I would love for them to be born on our birthdays,” Ervin said. "But I said our kids being born on our birthday, that’s unique. All of us celebrating together, that’s beautiful."
Blair added that they've already started thinking about what to do next year to celebrate all four of their birthdays. “I’m big on travelling, so if I could leave the state or country, that’d be a nice thing,” she said. “I love being on the water. I don’t know what it is, but I love how it feels."
Ervin added that it can be "one big celebration" each year, which he said would be "beautiful." The babies were initially expected on Aug. 28, but they were delivered by caesarian after Blair was advised as such during a checkup on Aug. 17.
