The Inspector-General of Police (IGP) is currently before Parliament's committee to testify about the leaked tape plotting his removal.
Dr. George Akuffo Dampare has faced accusations from previous witnesses, which the committee believes must be addressed.
On Sunday, the chairman of the committee, Samuel Atta Akyea had indicated that the hearing would be done in-camera.
He insisted that there were issues in the hearing that needed to be prevented from coming out in the public to protect national security.
But this modality changed today as parts of the probe will be done publicly.
Addressing the committee a while ago, Mr Atta Akyea indicated that issues bothering national security will be referred for an in-camera session.
