The Nursery department of the Ave Maria Nursery school in Accra has held a graduation ceremony for its little heroes who transitioned from kindergarten to begin their lower primary journey.
The event was attended by both teachers and parents as their children begin a new chapter in their academics.

The event, which was under the Theme, "Creating an Environment for Holistic Early Childhood Education and Development for the 21st Century Child" took place at the School’s new assembly hall.
Over 38 children who successfully went through Kindergarten were presented with certificates while those who excelled received prizes.
During the ceremony, the children entertained the parents, teachers and other invited guests with varied performances such as choreography displays, poetry recitals, drama, and a fashion show, while the school cadet put up splendid performances which saw guests clapping and cheering them throughout.

Ave Maria Nursery School is one of the leading educational institutions in Dansoman, Accra, which prides itself as citadel of quality education in the Greater Accra Region.
The Headmistress of the nursery department, Mrs Edith Aboagye, paid glowing tribute to the Proprietor of the school Mr Michael Antwi for his vision, which has affected many children living in and around the Dansoman community.

Madam Aboagye said the school can boast of well-qualified teachers who have been training the children to be better academically and morally, in order to become useful citizens when they grow up.
"We only actualize these visions and dreams through hard work and cooperation. We wish to assure you that our children will make a difference in the society” said Edith Aboagye.
