Kurt Okraku has been re-elected for a second term as the President of the Ghana Football Association (GFA).
The 52-year-old faced no competition for the position as aspirant George Afriyie was disqualified by the Election Committee, a decision upheld by the Appeals Committee.
At the Elective Congress in Tamale, 117 out of the 120 delegates cast their votes in favour of Kurt. Two delegates voted against the incumbent president, and one chose not to participate in the activity.
Kurt was first voted as president of the Association in October 2019, taking over from the Normalisation Committee after Kwesi Nyantakyi was ousted after an Anas Aremeyaw Anas expose for alleged corruption.
The congress is currently ongoing in Tamale as voting for other executive positions continues.

In the election for Executive Council members, Randy Abbey, Frederick Acheampong, James Kwasi Appiah, Nana Oduro Sarfo and Kingsley Osei have been given the nod.
Gifty Oware-Mensah will also serve as an ExCo member after she was voted by all 20 Women's Premier League clubs to be their representative.
