Black Stars forward Inaki Williams has revealed racism in Spain is dependent on wealth and how rich he or she the person.
According to the Athletic Bilbao man, he was in support of what Real Madrid winger Vinicius Jr did when he suffered racist attacks last season and says he wished the Madrid players walked off the pitch.
As compared to other countries, racism in Spain has not been as loud as it has been in other countries such as Italy.
Inaki, who first suffered racism in 2020, spoke against the act during an appearance on ESPN's Bicycle Diaries revealing that those who engage in the act only do it based on how wealthy the target is.
"In Spain, I think that people are elitist. If you have a lot of money like I do, they don’t look at your skin colour but if you are a street vendor, they do,” he said.
"I would have appreciated it if all the Real Madrid players walked off and the game had been stopped," he added when quizzed about Vinicius' reaction to being racially abused.
Inaki is currently in camp with the Black Stars who will play Mexico and USA in friendly games as part of the October international break.
The forward continues to search for his first goal with the Black Stars since committing his international future to Ghana.
