The Ghana Police Service has intensified its security in Ashanti Regional's capital in a strategic move to ensure public safety during the festive season and beyond.
With increased vehicular, motorbike and horse patrols, the police intends to heighten their visibility within the Kumasi Metropolitan area.
This deployment aims to ensure a secure environment for residents and their properties during the yuletide.

In a press release, the service indicated that there are plans to ensure that other regions are covered.
A comprehensive rollout of motorbikes, horses and dogs (K9 Unit) patrols are set to sweep across the entire country.

This will systematically extend coverage region by region while ensuring that every corner of the nation benefits from increased police presence.
