Festus Agyapong Bumakama, a parliamentary candidate aspirant for the Sefwi Wiawso constituency has provided financial support for the New Patriotic Party's women's wing.
A few weeks ago, the presumptive parliamentary candidate launched a fund which was dubbed 'Women Endowment Fund' to provide financial support for the women's wing in the New Patriotic Party in the Sefwi Wiawso Constituency.

The fund is accessible to women in the form of a soft loan, with a three-month moratorium with no collateral or guarantor only the use of the Ghana Card and NPP party card.
Out of the 168 people registered on the fund, the first batch involving 30 women has received their share of the fund to support their micro-businesses from the parliamentary candidate aspirant, Festus Agyapong Bumakama.
The fund has been activated in earnest and each of the 30 women received an amount of GH¢1,000.00 with a three-month grace period before payment in installment starts.

Speaking to Adom News, Mr. Festus Agyapong popularly known as 'Buma One' said he is committed to improving the micro-businesses for the women in the constituency.
He added his main target is to create a large size of employment opportunities for the teeming youth to reduce the unemployment rate in society.Â

Meanwhile, some of the beneficiaries after receiving the soft loan expressed joy and showed appreciation to the aspirant for honoring his promise.
They further pledged to also do whatever they can to support his vision of becoming the parliamentary candidate for the New Patriotic Party and possibly winning the parliamentary seat in the 2024 general elections.
