A Sefwi Wiawso parliamentary candidate aspirant, Festus Agyapong Bumakama, has established a money-lending fund to support women in small businesses in the area.
The fund dubbed 'Women Endowment Fund' is to provide financial support for the women's wing in the New Patriotic Party in the Sefwi Wiawso constituency.
The fund is accessible to women in the form of a soft loan, with a three-month moratorium with no collateral or guarantor only the use of the Ghana Card and NPP party card.

During the launching of the fund, the parliamentary candidate aspirant donated an amount of GH¢100,000.00 to the fund. The target people after receiving the message expressed joy and ecstasy. They showed their appreciation to the presumptive candidate for the initiative.
Mr Bumakama popularly known as 'Buma One' emphasized his commitment to the development of the Sefwi Wiawso constituency and the economic well-being of the people.
Festus Agyapong Bumakama has also over the months, taken upon himself to reshape the deplorable roads, bridges, schools, marketplaces, and other public places in the constituency since he declared his intention for the contest.
He has pledged to ensure the youth in the constituency get employment. Over the years, 'Buma One' has enrolled most of the youth in various TVET centers to acquire skills for the jobs available. Not only that, Mr. Festus has paid for the hospital bills, and school fees, and extended a helping hand to the needy in the communities.

Due to his generosity, thousands of people followed him to pick up his nomination forms and also during the vetting. After a successful vetting, the presumptive candidate was placed first on the ballot paper out of the five contestants.
In an interview with Adom News' Augustine Boah, Mr. Festus went on to express his confidence in securing victory in the primaries and the subsequent general election, to represent the good people of Sefwi Wiawso and championing the cause of providing employment opportunities for the capable youth in the area.
Festus Bumakama underscored that he is well-positioned to clinch the primaries and is committed to maintaining the Sefwi Wiawso seat for the NPP.
