Seasoned business consultant, Kwaku Fosu Frimpong, is marked to be the suitable parliamentary candidate to secure the Ahafo Ano North constituency seat for the New Patriotic Party (NPP).
Mr. Frimpong's journey towards the parliamentary seat is marked by a series of noteworthy philanthropic activities, underscoring his unwavering commitment to community development.
His initiatives include equipping 350 local farmers with valuable skills in beekeeping, pastries, detergents, and soap making.
Moreover, he organised a two-day free entrepreneurship training program benefiting over 1,000 constituents, aimed at enhancing their livelihoods and economic prospects.
The philanthropist's dedication extends beyond skill-building, as he also spearheaded the rehabilitation of 451 km of roads, benefiting 47 communities in the municipality.
In addition, he facilitated the installation of a communication mast by the Ghana Investment Fund for Electronic Communications (GIFEC) at Numasua, addressing the communication needs of residents and surrounding communities.
With a rich background managing DFID and IDA donor funds at the Ministry of Public Sector Reform in Ghana and working with the Finance Team of Milton Keynes Council in the United Kingdom, Mr. Kwaku Fosu Frimpong brings a wealth of experience in business processes, project incubation, and SME business diagnostics to the political arena.
Expressing his vision for the Ahafo Ano North Constituency, Mr. Frimpong outlined five key thematic areas: infrastructure, health, education, economic development, and party development.
He promises to continue reshaping and resurfacing feeder roads, introduce private health insurance for polling station executives, establish an education fund, and expand agricultural partnerships to boost farmers' productivity.
In a bid for sustainable development, Mr. Frimpong plans to create a Skills Development and Training Centre, providing start-up capital and markets for local products.
Additionally, he envisions a modern Constituency Party Office, complete with a Business Development Centre and a Party Welfare Fund funded by local businesses.
Having filed his nomination forms and secured the No. 2 position on the ballot for the upcoming primaries on January 27, 2024, Mr. Frimpong appeals to over 700 delegates to vote for him, expressing his unwavering commitment to representing their interests at the National Assembly in 2025.
As the political landscape in Ahafo Ano North evolves, Kwaku Fosu Frimpong stands out as the New Patriotic Party's promising candidate, poised to carry the baton into the 2024 elections and potentially break the historical swing between the NDC and the NPP.
