Government has invested over GH₵10 million cedis to operationalize the Mim Water Supply System in the Ahafo Region.
This project, part of the rural water initiatives under the "Water for All Agenda," aims to ensure sustainable water service delivery.

Minister for Sanitation and Water Resources, Freda Prempeh emphasizes that, in addition to rehabilitating and expanding water works, residents will have access to potable drinking water.
The Mim Water project has been commissioned and will be managed by the Community Water and Sanitation Agency (CWSA).

Commissioning the project on Wednesday, January 31, Madam Freda Prempeh explained that the Mim water supply system was constructed in 2003 under the IDA-SRWSP project and handed over to Mim Community Water System Management, but broke down in 2009.
The Minister highlighted that since assuming control of the system in 2018, the CWSA has undertaken rehabilitation efforts for the existing boreholes, including their pump houses, and has replaced all the pumps, with one utilising photovoltaic technology.

She emphasised that the initiatives undertaken to optimize the water system's operation include the mechanization of two boreholes, incorporating a 550m transmission line, as well as the construction of pump houses and a solar farm.
