Ghanaian singer Rebecca Akosua Acheampomaa popularly known as Becca has spoken about how difficult it was taking a break from the music industry following her marriage to businessman Dr. Tobi Sanni Daniel.
She explained to Doreen Avio on Daybreak Hitz that she had to make a conscious effort to stay out of the industry.
"It's been hard to watch people on the stage and release music," Becca stated. "It's a decision I had to make for my own good. For my sanity, for the family," she added.
Becca added that her decision will build her, especially now that she's back in the industry.
"And I'm not sorry about that decision at all. I think it's going to make me a better person, because I know the dynamics of something, and I'm going to be able to run my house, and I'm going to be in the industry if I want to be," she noted.
Aside from being successful in other businesses, Becca explained that one of the driving forces that influenced her decision to return was her passion for music.
"This is something I love to do. This is my career. You know aside from everything that I have to do, building properties and everything. This is what I love to do."
Becca was on Daybreak Hitz to promote her upcoming show with Kwabena Kwabena dubbed the Love Concert slated for February 14.
Her interview on Hitz FM was also the official platform to announce her comeback to the music industry.
